Glen Canyon Dam

Day 15, Grand Canyon to Bryce Canyon 332 miles

From Grand Canyon travelled on Highway 89N to Page encountering some fantastic rock formations along the way.  Stopped at Glen Canyon Dam which is a concrete arch-gravity dam on the Colorado River, drove to Wahweap Overlook then onto Lone Rock for lunch.

Travelling north up Highway 89 with Grand Canyon on our left

Fascinating rock formations heading for Page

They know how to load up their trucks!

After lunch we crossed into Utah and entered Bryce Canyon where we drove the 17 miles to the end of the Canyon then drove back again calling into many scenic look outs including Sunset View.  Got to Rubys Inn RV Park rather late as I got caught up with taking photos at every opportunity.  Hels was a bit over photos by the time we settled and was quick to suggest I should go and sit by the fire!!
