Overnight at Beerwah

Always nice to stay at the Beerwah Recreational Grounds and our original couple of nights ended up to be 5!  With Helen still not fully recovered it was better to stay and rest before heading to the Gold Coast for our son's Wedding.  Had to change sites as their was an activity booked on the Sunday which required the whole concreted area.  No problems with our move as our next site was fine and nice and quiet so Helen could have plenty of recovery time.

Why a GT Ford at a gender party, you ask?
On the Sunday I heard there was going to be a 'Gender Party' and upon further enquiries found out it was a Baby Shower Party.  However this is quite different to the old celebrations where the guests bring baby gifts and have afternoon tea and play games.  This one includes the 'boys' and it was great to watch.  The Ford GT HO had special powder on its tyres and then did burn outs which produced either blue or pink smoke - predicting the sex of the unborn child.  In this case they have predicted girls as the couple are having twins.

From Beerwah we drove to Mausland (Gold Coast Hinterland) where we set up in Wayne and Susan's home (Tenelle's Mum and Dad) awaiting the big Wedding Day.  Todd and Tenelle - particularly Tenelle - had planned and prepared their Wedding and was not a lot we needed to do prior to the day, however I needed a suit and shoes etc so shopping was a priority.  All our siblings from Adelaide travelled up for the big day and we had a quick catch up with them before the wedding.

It's going to be a girl

We had to move from our site which was on this concrete slab, site 4.

Just making sure they are both going to be girls.

OK we know it's going to be a girl, you can stop now!!

Well that was fun!!
